My Story
Welcome to my corner of the interwebs, allow me to introduce myself, a photographer who has had a camera in my hands since I was 4 years old. Born & raised in Bombay, I was exposed to photography from an early age as my father, a true renaissance man, chose photography/videography as his then-current profession. As the only child, everything in the home was my toy, encouraging my my curiosity my parents gave me my own point-and-shoot camera on my fourth birthday. I quickly fell in love with the art of capturing moments in time, and the entire process, the click, the winding forward, the satisfaction of completing a film roll, rewinding it manually, asking my dad for his help, and education in getting them processed - all of it led to a satisfying conclusion with glossy prints to add to an album of stories.
Growing up, I've spent countless hours experimenting with different techniques, lighting, and angles. I was often the unofficial photographer on on family vacations, capturing stunning landscapes and candid portraits. As I grew older, my passion for photography only intensified. Working as an assistant to established photographers, I've spent several years, honing my skills and gaining valuable experience. I have always kept photography as a part-time business, specializing in portrait photography, graduations, birthday parties, and wedding receptions.
I continue to pursue my passion for photography, continuously learning and growing as an artist. I believe that photography is not just about capturing an image, but about telling a story and capturing the essence of a moment. My work reflects this deep appreciation for the beauty of the world and the people in it, and I hope to inspire others to see the world through my lens.
